i wrote most of this song around 2005 ish while i was at work. i set my note book on a ladder next to me and wrote it on my stilts. the pages have drywall mud on them:)

i started thinking about how my mom and my good friend's mother gave up so much of their lives to be good mothers as well as help provide for their families.
the song poured out of me. it's mostly about my friend's testimony and his mother rose, but some of me and hopefully some of you is mixed in there as well.

i wasn't going to record this track because i could never find a beat that fit it, but playdough came through and sold me this little gem.
