about
this was the first track i recorded for this album. i bought this beat by doing yard work and some drywall repairs at my man quarintine's house while i was working on my last album. i decided not to use on that project because i couldn't think of a cool concept. two months after i released my last album i came up with a cool idea for it.
i was going to buy a beat from playdough around this time but found out he was going to be in town. i decided to use the money to get him to come to my studio and drop a verse instead. the only beat i had to offer him to rhyme on was this one. luckily he was diggin the concept and the beat. he came out one saturday before his show and laced it.
i recorded my verse and hooks the week after him and was quick to burn a copy to give him. that proved to be valuable being that my computer crashed shortly after and that was the only copy that survived. the track sounded horribly full of high end and was not mixed very well. so i had my man tom stanley save the day with his bass guitar. my friend dj heavy added some of his cuts to band aid this track as well. after all of that it would be a crime not to let you hear it.
