my man pumpkin foot gave me this beat for free after i had told him i like it. what a brother! i loved it but thought it was too happy for the album. now i can't imagine the album with out it.

one night my man sympull was over and we were talking about getting a track together. i played him the beat and he jumped right on. he told me he wrote his verse after he and i had freestyled together after church one sunday. so we both thought it would only be fitting to freestyle the 3rd verse. he is one of the best freestyle emcees i know. he did his 3rd verse in only 3 takes. when i recorded my verse the next day i made sure to only give myself 3 chances to come off with a freestyle as tight. i only did 3 takes but he ripped me. ha ha.

we both tried to write a hook that night but in the end i thought the zing zan sample was fresh on its own.
